Men Who Cook

Every year, men from across the Purchase Area who are committed to making a difference come together in support of our mission by sharing their culinary talent.  The idea for the event started as recognition that for true social change, men must be a part of the solution and over the years the event has successfully grown and sparked change across the region.

More than 400 guests attend this exciting event where you can try a variety of culinary creations, bid in our auction, and be entertained by our live DJ.

This is our largest annual awareness and fundraising event.  We are excited to be doing this again for 2019! Mark your calendars now for April 13, 2019 at the Paducah Convention Center as Mercy Health Paducah presents the 14th Annual Men Who Cook!

Men Who Cook

Who is Lotus?

If you’ve attended Men Who Cook before, you may have noticed our name is a little different. We were formerly PASAC (Purchase Area Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center). Today, we are Lotus. Our mission is still the same, but we now have a larger emphasis on prevention, in addition to our crisis response teams. Lotus has three primary programs:

Our Collective Empowerment program strives to create a unified community dedicated to supporting survivors and ending violence. Learn more about who we are here.

How Does This Event Help?

Men Who Cook allows us to continue offering much needed, comprehensive and specialized services to survivors and families.  Through your donation of time, money and talents, we’re able to further our mission to support survivors, strengthen families, and empower communities to end to violence.
