PARTNERING FOR TORNADO RELIEF IMPACT

As Lotus continues to support recovery efforts for survivors, children, and families impacted by the December 10 tornado that devastated our region, we thank our partners for their commitment and response.

Our multidisciplinary team partners from from the Kentucky Department for Community Based Services and Graves County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office delivered essentials and coping resources to children and families impacted by the tornado. Included in the packages were weighted teddy bears, which can help alleviate symptoms of traumatic stress, courtesy of Paducah Cooperative Ministry.

Lotus also thanks generous supporters from near and far who have donated to relief efforts for impacted survivors, children, and families in our region. If you would like to make a donation to Lotus to help continue our efforts, you can visit donate.hopehealgrow.org and note “Tornado Relief” in the comment box with your donation. Questions? Email us at [email protected].

GET INVOLVED:
LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY

The 2022 Kentucky General Assembly has begun! Over the next several weeks, it’s critical that Kentuckians reach out to legislators to make their voices heard. Children’s advocacy centers and sexual violence resource centers like Lotus need your help to ask Kentucky legislators to prioritize survivors, children, and families this year.

Starting next week, Lotus will send you key information about what’s happening in Frankfort and how you can get involved in the legislative process.
